Just added this morning! The triple spiral, or triskele, is a Celtic or pre-Celtic symbol representing the “three realms” of land, sea and sky, and often associated with the god Manannan and the goddess Brigid. This necklace offers a graceful, elegant variation on this theme in radiant shades of blue contrasted with opalescent white and earthy copper.
A round ceramic triskele pendant with a sky blue glaze (locally handcrafted in Oregon) on a copper-plated pewter European-style bail adorns a strand of 6mm grade A blue sponge quartz rounds, 3mm solid copper rounds, 6mm pearlized darker blue Czech glass rounds (evocative of deep waters), 10mm opalescent white sea glass orbs, 4mm grade AA faceted brilliant blue apatite rondelles, and silver-lined clear Czech glass seed beads.
The beads are strung on professional quality beading wire, which is soft-drape clear-coated stainless steel, securely finished using crimps and wire guards, and fasten with an easy to use copper-plated brass lobster claw clasp. The necklace circumference is 17 3/4″, and the triskele pendant measures 1″ round. (If you need a longer length I would be happy to add an extension chain at no extra charge, just let me know in “note to seller” when making your purchase.)
Blue quartz is a relaxing, soothing stone that vibrates to both the throat and third eye chakras, thus enhancing communication skills as well as psychic vision. It is helpful in dreamwork and aids in connecting to the higher realms of spirit.
Blue apatite has a cleansing influence on the aura and enhances communication, creativity, and personal power.
Copper has been in use since 9,000 BCE and was used for its magickal properties by ancient pagans. Just as copped is now known for its ability to conduct electricity, it is also believed to have the ability to conduct healing and magickal energies.
