Pagan Crowns now at FiberWytch!

This is the new project that kept me up way too late last night! I’ve been thinking about making these for a while now (having made them for my own use in the past), but Jo and Odin jointly gave me a shove to finally act on it.  The first batch of four crowns is available right now, with more on the way soon!

In the language of adornments, crowns protect the crown chakra, the energy center that links us with the divine. Kings and queens have traditionally worn crowns for the same reason many high priests and priestesses do, to signify their role as a channel for divinity. Whether you are a priestess, on a path of sacred queenship, or just love the symbolism, it is my pleasure to provide you with a selection of witch-crafted crowns for your consideration. With Beltaine, wedding season, and summer pagan festival season all right around the corner, a stylish crown could serve more than one purpose in your wardrobe in the months ahead!

Lunar Pearls: Freshwater pearls combine with enchanting charoite in a spectacular lunar crown! The central pendant is a silvertone crescent moon adorned with moons and stars, flanked by shimmering ivory freshwater pearls, genuine charoite chips, dark purple and electroplated clear Czech glass crystal bicones, and silver-plated hematite spacers. To keep the crown lightweight and wearable, the beads attach to a continuous silver-plated brass chain which molds easily to the shape of your head. The crown measures about 22 1/2 inches, with the pendant measuring about 1/2 inch. There are no clasps to fiddle with, you just rest the crown atop your head and go!

The name charoite is derived from the Chara (or Charo) River in eastern Siberia, Russia, the only place in the world where this gem is found. The word “Chary” in Russian means “magic” or “charms.” Charoite is a rare and complex gemstone, allowing access to lessons learned in dreams and past lives, and aid in healing emotional fears and opening to spiritual guidance.

Pearls are traditionally connected with femininity and emotion.

Queen of Hearts: This crown is a stunner, certain to draw all eyes your way! The central pendant is a goldtone puff heart, flanked by electroplated topaz Czech glass crystals, half-electroplated ruby red Czech glass crystals, and genuine ruby chips, with gold-plated hematite spacers. To keep the crown lightweight and wearable, the beads attach to a continuous brass chain which molds easily to the shape of your head. The crown measures about 22 inches, with the pentacle measuring about 1/2 inch. There are no clasps to fiddle with, you just rest the crown atop your head and go!

Considered the queen of stones and the stone of kings, ruby is a talisman of protection, passion, and prosperity.

Blue Moon: This crown combines celestial imagery with soothing larimar. The central pendant is a goldtone crescent moon and star, flanked by genuine larimar chips, electroplated light blue Czech glass crystal rondells, clear aurora borealis Czech glass crystals, and gold-plated hematite spacers. To keep the crown lightweight and wearable, the beads attach to a continuous brass chain which molds easily to the shape of your head. The crown measures about 22 1/2 inches, with the pendant measuring about 1/2 inch. There are no clasps to fiddle with, you just rest the crown atop your head and go!

Also known as the “dolphin stone” and the “blue stone of Atlantis,” larimar is extremely rare and expensive, as it is found only in the Dominican Republic. A stone of volcanic origins, it also carries the energies of sky and sea, and helps to balance these polarities, working to release fear, calm temper, and soothe the physical and emotional bodies.

High Priestess: This crown is a classic example of the type that might be worn by a Wiccan high priestess, with its traditional combination of genuine Baltic amber chips and jet rounds with a pentacle pendant and spacers of electroplated black Czech glass crystal and silver-plated hematite. To keep the crown lightweight and wearable, the beads attach to a continuous silver-plated brass chain which molds easily to the shape of your head. The crown measures about 22 inches, with the pentacle measuring about 1/2 inch round. There are no clasps to fiddle with, you just rest the crown atop your head and go!

Amber is not a stone, but fossilized tree resin, millions of years old. It endows the wearer with protection and healing, clears negative energy, and assists with manifestation.

Jet is a type of coal formed from carbonized (fossilized) wood. It is a gem of protection, healing, and intense purification that can help to clear the aura of impure energies, and is wonderful for grounding, too.

More crowns (plus a custom listing!) on the way soon!

  1. This sounds like an awesome idea, especially for anyone who is walking down the path of sacred queenship or kingship. I’m probably going to share this article with Kayla (if she hasn’t seen it already) as I’m sure it would be something she could possibly be interested into sometime in the future. You keep suprising al of us with all of the stuff you come up with thoruh Fiber Wytch, Beth!

  2. *grabby hands* This I was not expecting, though it’s totally a natural progression… Are you going to do Crown-Necklace matchings at any time? Maybe not for normal listings, but custom listings instead? I’m already loving these though. So pretty.

    • I do have a High Priestess pentacle necklace in the shop already that matches that crown. It’s definitely something I could do as a custom order, at the very least. Thank you! 🙂

  3. Wow these look really amazing. I can see now why Odin decided to takeover: you had/have way too much goodness bottled up (you’ve made consistently awesome stuff non-stop) and he decided it was time to let it all out! Blessings.

  4. Funny thing is that for a while I had been thinking of messaging you about crowns… And then I read this!! These are absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to see what other beauties you put up! You are certainly in great Hands.
