New post at my PaganSquare blog

I just published the most recent installment to my PaganSquare blog, Threads!  It’s the first in a series of three posts on heathen practice for beginners (inspired by Lykeia’s recent “Baby Polytheist” post).  You can read Baby Polytheist: the Heathen/Odinist sequel over at the Witches & Pagans site here.

  1. I would comment on the actual post, but I don’t have an account over there.

I’m really glad that you’re doing this series. Odin’s been trying to get my attention for quite awhile, but it’s only recently that I’ve started listening (about six months or so). And it’s only since then that I’ve been trying to figure out Heathen ritual in general. I’m looking forward to your future posts!

  2. Such a great post, and not only for absolute beginners. I love how simply you put those basics, and the fact that it leaves a lot of “wiggle room” to shape one’s own practice.

  3. Wes Beth Hael!

I had a hard time reading your post because websites like the Pagan Square and Patheos are a righteous nightmare on my screen reader and cause it to usually read parts of the page that I don’t want to read and completely ignore what I want to read!

That being said I very much enjoyed reading your post once my screen reader finally decided to behave and it clicked with the website, and I must say that I thought it was a very insightful post and will help a lot of new folks looking to get started with Heathenry and wanting to know how to honor the holy powers – I can’t wait for the next post in the series!

    1. Thank you, Rob! I’m sorry to hear that the site is so unfriendly to screen readers, but glad you finally got to enjoy it!
