Oracular Seidhr

My next oracular seidhr session, for the Blood Moon of October, is coming up on Friday, October 22nd.  With all of the heavy woo stuff going on for me this fall, both in the wake of my oath and in general because of the season, I expect this one to be a doozy.  So far my dance card (so to speak) is wide open, so if you have a question don’t be afraid to email me.  If you’ve never done this before or want to know more about what I do, read this page first.

  1. I won’t be surprised if it’s a big one, alright! All I have to say is that I am sooo glad that my “tradition” gives me a several month break during the winter to recoup (especially since I switch gears a bit to more Northern focused stuff, rather than Greek). Last night’s session will be the last until February. Good luck with yours!

    1. Thanks! I hope yours went well. (Will be emailing you back at some point today, too!) Generally speaking the session closest to Yule tends to be my busiest of the year (people wanting to know what’s in store for the year to come) although I don’t get as many questions overall as I did the first couple of years (probably a side effect of not being on Heathen lists or LJ anymore). I’m really glad I don’t have to switch gears between traditions; my life is already complicated enough as it is, lol.

      1. I meant that it would be big more in terms of spiritual intensity for you personally, rather than number of questions. My number of requests dropped too, after leaving the lists, but has recently begun to climb again now that I’ve established myself well on my blog. I actually decided to impose a limit on questions just for the one or two times a year I actually get more than seven, which I feel is just pushing it too much for me.

  2. Oh, I’m sure it will be intense! I average between 2-3 querents a month and once in a while don’t get any; I’m hoping as my blog traffic increases that more people will send questions. But I agree with you that seven is too much! That’s not a problem I have to deal with right now, but I’ll probably set a cap too if it comes to that.
